NSP History
The North Shore Players is a regional community theater group's current home is based in Danvers, Massachusetts, at Hogan Regional Center (formerly Danvers State Hospital) Auditorium.
Danvers is only one of the many North Shore towns that the NSP supports with its live stage performances. We have members from all over the North Shore of Boston, Massachusetts! Come join us!
The North Shore Players has been in existence since 1957 and continuously providing the North Shore of Massachusetts with live entertainmant and stage productions. During the pandemic, the North Shore Players had to shutter the theatre at the Hogan Regional Center and leave the ghost light on until we could resume our productions.
In the summer of 2023, the North Shore Players resumed its live theatre schedule with the production of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible". The performance took place in October of 2023 at the Hogan Regional Center Auditorium (Hathorne, MA) and the Hale Farm House (Beverly, MA) with a stunning and gifted cast.
Later, in December of 2023, the North Shore Players performed a live audience radio show, Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", at the lovely stage facilities provided by the Maple Street Church in downtown Danvers, Massachusetts.
The North Shore Players Regional Community Theatre Group continues its mission of providing the North Shore of Massachusetts with live theatre entertainment as it nears 70 years of performances in the region!
