Sister Act: The Musical is a stage adaptation of the 1992 hit film featuring music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner, with additional material by Douglas Carter Beane.
The musical tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a lounge singer who witnesses a murder and gets placed in protective custody in a convent.
The North Shore Players is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and has been on the North Shore since 1957.
Curtain is at 7 p.m., Friday Nov. 21 and Saturday Nov. 22
and 2 p.m. On Sunday Nov. 23.
